BFi Optilas has introduced TOCS LED characterisation systems from Labsphere. Labsphere' TOCS LED thermal, optical, electrical characterisation system allows users to measure quickly, accurately, and simultaneously the optical and thermal features of LEDs and arrays.
The thermal variances at the LED junction can affect the LED performances in terms of colour, output, lifetime, luminous efficiency, and linearity performance. The LED system consist of a lamp measurement integrating sphere, a high-resolution CCD array spectrometer (spectral range from 360-1,000nm), electrical/thermal plate and temperature controller.
The TOCS system is available in sphere sizes from 20 to 76 inches. TOCS-SS powerful software is provided with each system. The LED characterisation systems are used in a various application areas: packaged LEDs, modules and arrays, backlight displays, and solid state lighting.
