McPherson has launched its latest Vacuum Ultraviolet Analytical Spectrometer (VUVAS) range, high-performance, scientific grade spectrophotometer.
With a longer lamp life at short ultraviolet wavelengths (120nm), the VUVAS is suited for the analysis of doped and crystalline materials, as well as deep ultraviolet optics and coatings. The new VUVAS offers direct optical characterisation of transmission, variable angle reflectance, and gas cell absorbance (optional). It also offers precise, reproducible wavelength control from 120 to 350nm, and sensitive signal recovery with lock-in detectors controlled from software. McPherson spectrometer control software provides single-point control for scanning and data acquisition.
