Jenoptik's Votan Solas Multi is a laser machine for mass production systems that have structuring processes.
It can also be used as a research and development pilot system for the optimisation of customer-specific thin-film photovoltaic modules as well as a manufacturing machine. With the Votan Solas Multi, laser sources are integrated into this machine concept. While the Votan Solas Multi can be used for structuring, the Solas LED version can be used for edge deletion for small and very large thin-film solar modules. Further applications are mechanical scribing for CIS/CIGS technologies and laser ablation for semi-transparent BIPV modules.
