The new Jenoptik 1.0 / 7.5mm wide-angle lens has been designed for thermographic cameras of the current VarioCAM HD and IR-TCM HD series. Its hybrid diamond like carbon surface coating protects the high-quality optics when used under extreme ambient conditions. A large 135° x 100° field of view enables measurement and surveillance of large objects, even from a short distance. The thermographic cameras VarioCAM HD and IR-TCM HD, for which the lens was manufactured, are used for the precise measurement of small thermal objects and hot spots.
