Z-Laser has added a new green model to its ZQ line of high performance diode lasers. The laser offers output power of up to 300mW in a bench mountable package, compatible with M6 and 1/4"-20 breadboards. The laser is available both as a standard collimated device and as a fibre-coupled model. The company states that the internal design of this laser, coupled with its smart monitoring capabilities and integrated thermoelectric cooler, allows a very high level of stability and a small spectral line width. A USB port allows users to monitor the laser during use. Applications include Raman spectroscopy, interferometry, holography and wafer inspection.
