Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) are revolutionising industries by offering unprecedented advances in performance, miniaturisation, and energy efficiency. But what’s the current state of the technology? Are PICs delivering on their promise, or is their full potential yet to be realised? Join us at 3pm UK time on Wednesday, 26 February, for an in-depth discussion as we explore the opportunities, challenges, and trends shaping the PICs landscape today.

Why attend?

  • Discover the latest innovations: Gain a clear understanding of where PICs stand today, and what’s on the horizon.
  • Expert-led sessions: Learn practical strategies for overcoming barriers to adoption, from leading experts who are well placed to share their extensive knowledge and experience.
  • Real-world applications: Gain insights into industry-specific case studies and success stories, and how integration of PICs can help optimise your pipeline.
  • Networking opportunities: Get in touch with like-minded professionals and industry leaders, and expand your list of industry contacts.

What will you learn?

This exclusive online panel discussion will spotlight:

  • The current state of play: Gain exclusive insights into the PIC innovations that are triggering breakthroughs and eradicating barriers. Learn how the likes of quantum PICs, silicon-on-insulator (SOI) platforms and indium phosphide-based circuits are underpinning industry-wide trends.
  • Emerging industry applications: Discover the various sectors that are getting the best out of PICs, from telecom and data centres, to biomedical sensing, healthcare, and beyond.
  • Current challenges: Understand the barriers involved in manufacturing PICs, as well as scalability and cost. Learn how researchers, start-ups and larger tech companies are overcoming these pressing pitfalls to unlock new use cases.
  • Future development: The most prominent trends emerging in the PIC space that are set to boost adoption, growth and innovation possibilities.
  • Top tips for integration: Learn how to properly assess and prepare for PIC integration in your organisation. Understand what it means to be ready for this transition, and how to determine where PICs can aid your organisation.

Who should attend?

This webcast is ideal for:
