Cutting system manufacturer Hypertherm has appointed Marco Mostert as its OEM sales director for Europe.
Mostert joined Hypertherm in February and he will be responsible for the management of the European OEM sales team. It is charged with the ongoing development and growth of the mechanised business with OEMs in the region.
Hypertherm’s mechanised products includes mechanised plasma, fibre laser and waterjet products as well as torches and consumables, automation products and CAM software. Mostert takes over from Hidde van Hoeven, who will continue with Hypertherm. Van Hoeven recently moved to the company headquarters in Hanover, New Hampshire, to be the marketing director for integrated cutting solutions.
Prior to joining Hypertherm, Mostert had several roles in engineering, project management and key account management. For the last 12-years, Marco worked for Nordson, a manufacturer of products and systems for the dispensing of adhesives, coatings, sealants and biomaterials. In his roles as regional sales manager and market development manager he was responsible for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
