Mikrotron (Unterschleißheim near Munich, Germany) has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Christian Pilzer as managing director. Pilzer is now responsible for the company's finance, human resources and administration divisions.
Pilzer studied economics at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, before beginning his professional career at one of the 'Big Four' German auditing companies. Since then he has held various executive positions, most recently eight years as director of finance and controlling at a leading manufacturer of mobile navigation systems.

The company develops, produces, and markets digital high-speed cameras, image processing components, and high-speed recording systems for industry, research, and development applications.
