During the Laser World of Photonics Show in Munich, BBright, the new French laser module specialist, unveiled its first Red Laser modules, BB-635 and BB-650.
These two modules, available in 635nm and 650nm, can output 50W (collimated) or 40W (fibre-coupled) and are housed in a 65mm x 47mm x 35mm casing.
Targetted for the booming digital projection market using laser modules to replace Xenon lights, these first BBright products will then be followed by Green and Blue laser modules.
BBright currently also works on de-speckling technologies for digital projectors.
Additionally, the BBright ultra compact laser modules can be used in various applications such as lighting and illumination, laser show equipment, large venue displays and medical therapy.
