Hamamatsu Photonics has introduced the C10082CAH and C10083CAH spectrometers, and the new miniature, high-power UV fibre light source, the L10671.
The CAH spectrometer series features high-resolution of around 1nm. The spectrometers use transmission grating and high sensitivity back thinned CCDs, which extend the range of possible applications. The C10082CAH is optimised for UV-VIS operation and works in the 200-800nm waveband where as the C10083CAH operates from 320-1000 nm.
The new L10671 features a brand new high performance Deuterium lamp, providing high radiant intensity and very high stability of 0.004 per cent. Compared to existing D2 lamp modules already on the market, the compact size (9 x 7 x 4cm) makes it ideal for a wide range of portable instrumentation deployments.
