Edmund Optics (EO) has introduced its new range of high performance deformable mirrors. The mirrors are the easiest and most convenient tool to correct optical aberrations through wavefront manipulation and control.
The company states that the deformable mirrors are suitable for use in combination with wavefront sensors and real-time control systems in adaptive optics. The mirrors are available with more than 10µm (typically 14µm) of actuator stroke-length. They are suited for tabletop applications as well as OEM integration.
