Dilas has acquired ownership of its founding site and headquarters, a previously state-owned building.
The owner, the LLB Rheinland-Pfalz (Landesbetrieb Liegenschafts- und Baubetreuung), agreed to sell the building which Dilas has expanded by adding another floor level and increasing the cleanroom area. The building includes 4,200m² of office space, high-tech research laboratories and production area. The total property is approximately 5000m².
The official hand-over of ownership took place on 9 July, between state government representatives and Dilas' general manager, Dr Marcel Marchiano. The state of Rheinland Pfalz was represented by Dr Salvatore Barbaro (secretary, Ministry of Finance), Dr Petra Wriedt (deputy managing director, LBB), Mr Andreas Nath (portfolio manager, LBB) and Mrs Claudia Renner (press spokeswoman, LBB).
