Exalos has released a user-friendly, turnkey device with a touch screen that enables the easy use of the SLED (Superluminescent Light Emitting Diode) technology for laboratory applications.
Exalos SLEDs feature wavelengths ranging from 650 to 1,600nm. The SLEDs output powers range from one to 25mW, depending on the wavelength.
The EBS4000-0000 can incorporate up to four different SLEDs to meet specific customer requirements, the EBS8000-0000 up to eight ones (available as single or multiple port optical outputs).
The main applications are in the fields of fibre optic sensing, optical coherence tomography and optical metrology.
The SLEDs are available from AMS Technologies throughout Europe.
