Laser Physics UK has expanded its line of Sperian high-transmission (HT) filters and now offers an HT Diode and YAG filter for its line of laser safety eyewear. Filter 162 has EN 207 protection levels 800-820 DI L6 and 920-1064 DIR L6 with a VLT of 57 per cent. This level of light transmittance represents a more than 12 per cent increase over any other similar filter on the market. This achievement represents a milestone in high transmission filter technology.
The new HT Diode and YAG filter is currently available for the recently-launched Sperian Milan laser eyewear and the popular GPT XC laser eyewear. The GPT XC features custom adjustments and patented multi-material technology for added comfort. Both feature anti-fog and anti-scratch coatings and come with a lifetime warranty for both frame and filter. This new HT filter is also available in the large Encore over-glasses goggles for individuals who wear prescription eyewear.
