nLight Pearl fibre-coupled diode lasers, available from Laser Lines, produce up to 100W of 976nm light from a 105µm core fibre at an excitation numerical aperture of 0.12. The resulting beam product provides 6.5mm-mrad of cladding-free light. The high-power Pearl module is compact (<100cm2) and is optimised to meet performance, cost, and reliability demands for the growing fibre laser pump and direct materials processing markets.
