The PI400 is Optris' latest online infrared camera model and its versions the PI400 and PI450 have been introduced into the market to complement the PI160 and PI200 models.
The price of the basic optris PI400 model is €4,950. Sized 56 x 46 x 90mm, it weighs only 320g including its lens. This latest addition to the product portfolio of the Berlin-based company, the PI400 offers a thermal sensitivity of 80mK and the PI450 model, 40mK. Radiometric thermal images and infrared videos can be displayed and recorded at the full resolution of 382 by 288 pixels at a high measuring rate of 80 frames per second.
In combination with the appropriate lens assembly (with a 30° or 13° aperture), the camera thus permits more detailed measurements and widens the field of applications. With the availability of industrial grade accessories such as a cooling housing with mounting flange and a high-temperature USB cable, this camera can be implemented even in extremely harsh industrial conditions.
