AMS Technologies has introduced a new series of UV fibre lasers. The PUFL series UV fibre lasers are pulsed laser sources emitting at 355nm and delivering a high peak power pulse in a very compact package. The 355nm series is a UV laser based on the combination of a powerful 1.0μm fibre laser and a compact and efficient frequency converter. The output beam is near Gaussian and collimated.
The laser system is delivered with an interface module that keeps the frequency converter at constant temperature. The source is ideal for wafer inspection, Raman spectroscopy, aerosol detection and biological experimentation applications, such as fluorescence excitation imaging.
