Motionlink now supplies Micronix USA's range of long-travel linear and accurate rotary piezo stages.
The PPS linear piezo stage range offers long travel up to 100mm, with resolutions of 1nm and velocities of 2mm per second. Available in X, XY and XYZ configurations, these stages use the compact, low-cost MMD-100 range of Micronix controllers. Options include capacitive and high-accuracy encoder feedback, all suitable for 10-9 vacuum operation. Blocking forces are high and mechanical designs based on rugged bearings allow loads up to 10N.
Standard resolution is 3.6 micro degrees and maximum velocity is 6 degrees per second, with the MMC-100 controller. Custom designs are available.
