Opto Diode Corporation has released the 6mm² Photodiode-Preamplifier ODA-6WB-100M.
Second in the high sensitivity product family of blue/green-enhanced photodetector/preamps, this new device features a large active area with extremely low noise. The combination detector-preamplifier offers wavelength response at 450nm, typically 28V/mW (min. 20). It operates between 400nm and 1,100nm with peak frequency response at 940nm and features 100Mohm transimpedance gain (custom gains are also available, upon request).
The new ODA 6WB-100M is hermetically sealed in a TO-39 can, making it easy to integrate into new or existing systems. It can withstand a soldering temperature (1/16 inch from the case for 3 seconds maximum) up to 260°C, with standard storage and operating temperatures ranging from minus 25° to 100°C.
