Edmund Optics has introduced Techspec hard coated OD4 25nm bandpass filters, to provide the high transmission and deep rejection necessary to isolate narrow spectral regions.
The filters are designed to serve as a midrange alternative to broadband or narrowband filters, and are suited to single photon microscopy applications. They have the capability to prevent overbleaching of live samples or fluorophores in a range of life science applications.
They feature high transmssion and deep blocking, and can be used to eliminate unwanted background noise while enhancing the signal-to-noise ratio in imaging or machine vision applications. The filters are available in 108 models, with centre wavelengths from 400 to 1,550nm, in diameters of 12.5, 25 and 50mm.
